Operations Coordinator

Description We are currently seeking candidates for an Operations Coordinator position within an Investment Department. The role involves providing essential operational support to the department. This is a full-time position with standard weekday hours and offering potential for long-term growth. The position is based at our client's headquarters and offers a supportive working environment under the guidance of a gracious and knowledgeable leader. Key Responsibilities:

Conducting daily operations processing, including financial transactions, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Managing tasks such as processing checks, transfers, ACH transactions, and daily deposits.

Handling various responsibilities related to sweep account processing, ensuring smooth fund transfers.

Assisting with tax-related duties during tax season, including maintaining records and processing payments.

Maintaining and updating accounting records and generating reports for accounting purposes.

Performing administrative tasks such as updating procedures, managing inventory, and preparing reports.

Conducting monthly reconciliations of various accounts and providing backup support for trading activities and other tasks as needed.

(10%) Handles customer questions and complaints. (10%) Enforces safety rules and practices. (10%) Develops project plans, provide direction and coordinate project activities associated with operations. Performs supervisory activities, including employee safety, selection and development of employees; employee counseling and motivation and salary administration. Assists in the administration of the department budget and reporting the work performed within the department. Performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of human performance improvement techniques. \" Evaluate present practices and implement processes, concepts, training and tools to prevent, detect and correct human errors that may adversely impact the safe, reliable operation of the natural gas transmission and distribution system. \" Bachelor\'s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor\'s degree.) Six years of related experience, including one year in a senior technical/leadership role. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Personal computer skills, proficiency in e-mail, Word, Excel, GTech, CDb and work management information system. Valid driver\'s license; subject to department of transportation pipeline drug testing. Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
