Did you know Casey's Store Support Center has a Child Development Center onsite for our team members? We do, and we're looking for dedicated a Child Care Teacher to join our team!
As a Child Care Teacher, you'll be responsible for thedaily care of an assigned group of children (6 weeks - pre-K), planning developmentally appropriate activities, and maintaining the environment in accordance with program objectives. You'll ensure compliance with established policies and procedures within each assigned program area.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Child Development or related field or equivalent experience is required.
Strong working knowledge of childcare and development.
Annual Universal Precautions training.
First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Mandatory child abuse training class.
Creativity, compassion and professionalism are a must.
Fun and enthusiastic attitude are required.
Effective written communication skills.
Excellent creativity used in developing children's programs.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior experience in a child-care setting is preferred.
