As part of the Global Compensation Team, the primary purpose of this position is to support various reoccurring and annual processes that assure external competitiveness and internal equity of our management, professional and hourly employees, thereby helping to assure that the best employees are attracted, retained and motivated by our compensation systems.WHAT YOU WILL DO Participate in the administration of the incentive programs. Conducts analysis and auditing of data in support of program administration. Participate in the merit planning process, which includes: updating merit planning guidelines document, conduct training for HR Managers (primarily conference calls and Webcasts) and leaders, consolidating merit planning reports, preparing consolidated summary of final merit plan. Assist in the administration of the Company’s equity plan. Administer the market pricing tool, CompAnalyst. Updates survey and employee data, manages access, trains users, writes and provides reports as needed. Complete and conduct global compensation surveys. Works with Compensation and Human Resources staff to assure proper survey matches have been made. Coordinates survey completion support with others. Understand and use the appropriate survey resources for position market analysis and leveling/grade recommendations. Drafts documentation of pay recommendations for review by Compensation leader and HR team members; routes recommendation for approvals by leadership in compliance with established approval guidelines. May also compile market data into Excel worksheets and analyzes results for various team members/projects. Provide analysis support in the annual review and updating of the global salary structures and positions. Generate and analyze various reports using internal/external systems, Excel and other vendor sources. Responsibilities Develops procedures, systems, and methods on a variety of management functions and activities in one or more of the following areas - organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, delegation of authority, goals and objectives, and/or information management. Analyzes assigned Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for completeness and determine which facilities/offices hold responsive records Reviews records, makes FOIA exemption determinations, calculates fees, prepares and finalizes responses to complex FOIA requests in a timely manner. Analyzes and applies FOIA provisions and makes disclosure recommendations consistent with applicable exemptions or review appropriateness of redactions made by others. Reviews and interprets laws, rules, and regulations. Coordinates with legal and other subject matter experts to fulfill requests. Provides information and advice to both internal and external customers. Maintains frequent contact with internal and external customers on routine matters such as gathering information, explaining FOIA law, discussing concerns, and explaining the status of assignments. Tracks and analyzes data to ensure compliance with existing policies and procedures, and develops reports supporting management initiatives. Provides supporting rationale on the establishment or clarification of objectives. Ensures that plans are consistent with program guidance. Analyzes plans for programs under the organization\'s cognizance and recommends changes, as necessary, to ensure that comprehensive plans are kept current and reflect policies, priorities, goals and objectives of the organization. Conducts analyses in the review and evaluation of program activities. These analyses are conducted to ensure proper program integration and conformance to policy, completeness, and adequacy of operations in meeting goals and objectives. Prepares recommendations based on such reviews, and discusses recommended courses of action with program managers to resolve major problem areas. These recommendations include but are not limited programmatic interfaces and impact of not meeting goals and objectives. Reviews and analyzes new and proposed regulations to determine impact on program operations and management.
