Civil Engineering, and Construction Management/Engineering New Graduates Are Encouraged to Apply!Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.Job DescriptionAs a Geotechnical Engineer, your duties will include preparing proposals, conducting and reviewing construction field observation activities, and reviewing materials tests and reports. You will also create soil logs from field logs and samples and prepare them into a typed document. Depending on your preference, you can work in the field or in the office. Moreover, you will work on 3-4 projects at a time and draft reports for the VP Engineer to review before sending to the client. Your role will involve partnering with Architects, Owners, and Engineers.Hard Skills

Work EnvironmentOur work environment is M-F 40-45 hours a week, 8-5. This role is based in our office in Des Moines and you'll rarely be out in the field. You can dress casually in jeans, a polo, and nice shoes. You'll have frequent interactions with Architects, Owners, and Engineers.
