Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an IT Audit Manager in the banking industry, located in DES MOINES, Iowa. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our Internal Audit team, focusing on collateral audits, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring. The role will involve collaboration with various departments to ensure comprehensive audit coverage.Responsibilities: Conduct audits of collateral management processes, including verification and valuation of collateral assets. Evaluate risks associated with collateral management and identify areas where controls may be insufficient. Prepare detailed audit reports documenting audit procedures, findings, and recommendations. Assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls related to collateral management. Collaborate with finance, risk management, and operations departments to gather information and ensure comprehensive audit coverage. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies related to collateral management. Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes. Assist in the development and execution of the annual audit plan for collateral management. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of issues. Requirements Comprehensive knowledge of the banking industry and its related regulations Proven experience in IT auditing, particularly within the banking sector Proficiency in using CobiT, CRM, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques and Hyperion Technologies Demonstrable experience in Auditing, developing Audit Plans, writing Audit Reports Previous experience as an Audit Senior would be an advantage Understanding of Budget Processes in a banking environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Demonstrated leadership skills and team management experience Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA) would be beneficial.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
