The Laundry Folder is responsible for accurately folding and organizing laundered items, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
This position requires precision, efficiency, and a commitment to delivering a superior customer experience. There are productivity requirements: at least 25 lbs an hour. Standing for the duration of the shift is mandatory.
The work schedule for this position is flexible and typically spans Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm. Occasionally, you may be required to work weekends and extend your hours into the evening until the folding tasks are completed. Please be aware that there might be instances where shifts are called off due to lighter laundry demand, with priority given to maintaining productivity levels.
Responsibilities:
Folding and Organization:
Accurately fold and organize a variety of laundry items based on established guidelines.
Ensure items are neatly presented and meet quality standards.
Quality Control:
Inspect folded items for any defects or issues.
Report discrepancies to the laundering team lead for resolution.
Ensure accurate order charging by carefully reviewing and confirming the details of each transaction before processing, thereby maintaining precision and reliability in our billing procedures.
Efficiency and Time Management:
Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with the laundering team and management team to maintain a smooth and coordinated operation.
Provide support to other team members as needed.
Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
Must be able to work in hot temperatures.
Must be able to stand for the duration of the 4 hour shift.
Must have reliable transportation.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and precision in folding various laundry items the WeWash way. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Previous experience in laundry folding or a related field is a plus.
