you will assist in setting up and operating thermoplastic extruder machines
You will set up and control the extruder, set the film dimensions and thickness, and prepare film surfaces at the treater stations.
you will undertake cleaning and other duties to maintain the plant.
Troubleshooting any part of the process is also a key part of your role,
Regular quality checks are also a crucial part of the job.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
Comfortable lifting 50lbs
Ability to read a tape measure
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Quality control experience preferred
Machine operating experience preferred.
Have to stand for entirety of shift
Work Environment
This position operates within a manufacturing environment and it is not temperature controlled.
Shift: 12 Hour Shifts | 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off - repeat - every other weekend (overtime available to sign up for)
x2 Day 7am-7pm $16.50
x1 Night 7pm-7am $17.50
The dress code includes work-appropriate shirts, jeans, shorts, and steel-toe shoes are a must.
