The standards are defined by the product specs and established Business rules. The core initiatives of the position include development, execution and tracking of test IT plans and test scripts in conjunction with the system development plan, and the management of system rework. The position also includes automation testing of applications/products.Responsibilities:

Perform Quality Assurance testing of Salesforce applications(functional, business flows, Reports testing)

Ability to write and execute SQL scripts on Oracle database (or SQL Server database). Must have skill

Create/enhance test cases/scenarios incorporating all modules and deliverables for new product

Develop detailed test scripts encompassing all deliverables and modules defined in the product requirements

Team player, and ability to work with teams from different geo locations

Experience in testing SFDC, SFMC and EA modules in Salesforce

Hands on experience in automation testing using selenium or other automation tools. Should be able to script test cases using any language

Good exeperience on various frameworks - Linear Automation Framework, Modular Based Testing Framework, Library Architecture Testing Framework, Data-Driven Framework, Keyword-Driven Framework, Hybrid Testing Framework etc

Diligently follow Testing process guidelines for test execution, defect tracking and test sign-off

Develop and maintain appropriate metrics to monitor quality in the development process

Maintain and monitor project rework logs/defects to ensure identified issues are resolved prior to program launch. Lead the tracking, analysis and resolution of potential problems identified in the product

Perform audit inspections and review project documentation at points throughout the development life cycle of a project to ensure all deliverables, processes, business rules, assumptions, and change requests are addressed.

Assists in further defining IT quality process standards and recommended IT Quality Best Practices.

Monitor testing sign off points to ensure product is ready for launch

Build a comprehensive functional & regression suite to test the product features

Investigate, evaluate and recommend process improvements to system development deliverables and quality processes.

Work with Test Management/Product Management to develop and maintain reasonable quotes and time line estimates

Monitor & Maintain quality benchmarks for the product during testing

Familiarize with the various business practices for Product development. Suggest any improvements to the process already laid out

Establish and maintain good working relationships with all groups and team members involve in the product development

Help in User Acceptance Testing

Support Go-Live, after Go-Live testing, and regular maintenance testing to support the product

Qualifications:

Education/Knowledge: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from a college or university (4 yr program) or Equivalent Experience

Minimum 4 years of Quality Assurance experience in Business Applications in a Product development setting required.

Hands on experience in testing web applications, report verification and validation etc.

Must have strong experience with backend testing and data validation on databases.

Hand on experience in automation testing using selnenium or other automation tools. Should be able to script using any language

Familiarity with Software Testing Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle methodology

Ability to use Relational Database concepts in Oracle/SQL Server database

Hands on experience in writing SQL scripts
