Description We are searching for a Sr Data Engineer to be a part of our team located in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa. This role is pivotal in our organization as it entails handling customer applications, managing customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. In addition, this role involves monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Keep customer credit records up-to-date Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions as required Hands-on data engineering, including both data warehouse and data lake tasks Utilize Azure Data Factory and SQL Server in day-to-day tasks Work with structured and unstructured data, requiring strong SQL experience Lead in the modernization and building out of a Data Lake in the Cloud Work with eventual cloud-based solutions and Azure Cloud experience Utilize PowerBi for data analytics within an Agile team Handle data integration tasks and manage SSIS packages Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write and optimize SQL queries Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Familiarity with Azure and Azure Stack is essential Strong knowledge in Data Warehousing and Data Warehousing - Mart Experience with Azure Data Lake and Data lakes Proficiency in SSIS, SSIS, SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services Ability to develop and manage SSIS Packages and SSIS ETL Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Knowledge of current data engineering trends and willingness to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
