Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fine Dining Chef to join our talented kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled culinary professional with expertise in preparing elevated dishes and executing exceptional presentations. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation & Cooking:

Prepare and cook high-end, innovative dishes following the restaurant's fine dining menu.

Utilize advanced culinary techniques and precise attention to detail to ensure the highest quality standards.

Work with premium, seasonal ingredients to create exquisite dishes that showcase flavor and creativity.

Presentation & Plating:

Execute impeccable plating and presentation, ensuring that each dish meets the aesthetic standards of the restaurant.

Work with the kitchen team to ensure consistency in presentation across all dishes, creating a visually stunning dining experience.

Collaboration & Creativity:

Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in menu development and special seasonal offerings.

Contribute to the creation of new dishes or modifications to the menu, staying on the cutting edge of culinary trends.

Quality Control:

Monitor the quality of all dishes leaving the kitchen to ensure they meet the restaurant’s standards for taste, texture, and presentation.

Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, cleanliness, and organization within the kitchen.

Leadership & Mentorship:

Supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Lead by example with professionalism, attention to detail, and culinary expertise.

Kitchen Management:

Assist in the management of kitchen inventory, ensuring proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Maintain efficiency in the kitchen, especially during high-volume service times

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a fine dining chef or in a similar high-end culinary environment (minimum 3-5 years).

Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and high-level presentation skills.

Exceptional understanding of food pairing, flavor balance, and ingredient sourcing.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

A passion for continuous learning and innovation in the culinary arts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
