Drs. Barto, Melhus, and Lauer at Southside Dental is now hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Des Moines, Iowa!
Schedule: We are seeking a full time hygienist to work 4 to 5 days a week. We gladly will work with any combination work days that best suit your needs!
Responsibilities
Screening patients during check-ups
Reviewing patient's history
Administer prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
Conduct screenings
Assist patients with oral hygiene
Application of sealants
Qualifications
Active RDH certification
Current with BLS/CPR certifications
Current with radiology and infection control certifications
