We are seeking an experienced Cable Installer to join our team. In this role, you will install and maintain cables for computers, routers, telephone systems, and other electronic equipment. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers to understand their needs; assessing the project requirements including design and equipment; removing old, damaged, or unnecessary cables and equipment; installing cables in commercial, retail, and industrial spaces; troubleshooting cable and network problems; and educating customers on basic operating instructions. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of electrical equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to pass drug test.
Previous experience as a Cable Installer, low-voltage technician, or related experience is preferred.
Knowledge of telecommunications and electrical equipment and systems is preferred.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to bend repeatedly, lift heavy objects, and work in small spaces.
