United Pipe Renewal, Inc. (UPR), a subsidiary of United Contractors, Inc., is a trenchless pipeline repair and relining contractor based in Des Moines, with projects throughout the Midwest and other parts of the country. Our technology eliminates the need to dig up yards, streets, and utilities. It allows for a more timely rehabilitation with little impact on the owner or the general public.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Valid drivers license required. Duties and training include camera/video work of pipelines, cleaning pipelines with water jetter, preparing and installing liners, operation of boiler and other related equipment.
Skills needed include the ability to work closely with 4-5 co-workers as a team, use hand tools, follow safety rules and use common sense on the jobsite, fill out forms and keep track of information, organization, and learn new skills.
Must be willing to travel for one to two weeks at a time, depending on where we are working. Must be able to share a hotel room with a co-worker.
