Immediate Warehouse/Customer Service Representative position available. The position is a temp-to-hire career opportunity. The pay will be $14.00-$20.00 an hour based on experience in Warehouse/Logistics field. Hours for position the position are 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday thru Friday plus occasional overtime as needed.
Job duties include answering customer questions and resolving client complaints in a professional and timely manner. Will run stock reports, check for product inventory / availability. Will input work and product orders, coordinate special requests and expedite orders as needed. Will act as a liaison between warehouse / office personnel and customers. Will process paperwork, perform data entry and general clerical work as assigned. Below are the requirements:
-Two years recent/verifiable Customer Service experience required in the Warehouse or Logistics field.
-Strong computer skills: proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel required. Previous experience operating warehouse inventory systems preferred.
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening and comprehension skills required.
-Must have a positive attitude, professional demeanor and ability to engage with customers and warehouse personnel with confidence.
-Ability to work independently, good decision-making skills within authorized limits
-Must have own transportation and valid drivers license as may need to go to different business locations in the Des Moines Metro Area (will be compensated for mileage). Must be flexible.
-High School Diploma or equivalent required.
