Star Equipment has an immediate opening for an assistant parts manager in our Des Moines facility. This position will be managing the daily customer sales for the parts department at our largest location, facilitating consumable purchasing, dealing with customers, coordinating building maintenance efforts, making sure backorders are processed as quickly as possible and more. You will also be in charge of the department when the parts manager is offsite.
Star Equipment is one of the largest general construction equipment houses in Iowa, employing over 85 people at 4 locations, family owned and in business for 54 years. Salary will be 55K-65k per year, based on experience and training.

Assist in day to day parts and supplies retail operation
Monitor and guide employees in parts sales, ordering, receiving, shipping, stocking
