SUMMARY:
Traffic Control Corporation was founded in 1946 as a distributor of traffic signal equipment and is firmly established as the local expert on traffic control and traffic safety products and solutions in the Midwest.
We are looking for a Territory Sales Representative to help us increase sales in a territory consisting of Iowa and Nebraska. Responsibilities include presenting our products and services to cities, county, and state transportation agencies, and public works departments. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and presentation skills and be highly motivated to meet and exceed sales goals.
JOB DUTIES:
Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers in assigned territory
Identify local business opportunities and challenges
Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
Present our products and services to prospective customers
Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
Work closely with other internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas
Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional service
Daily use of CRM platform to track sales activities
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in outside sales developing and managing a sales territory
Documented record of meeting and exceeding sales quota
Business to Government sales experience is a plus
Experience working with CRM software
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong problem solving and prioritizing skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
College degree or equivalent work experience
Must have excellent communication, presentation and people skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
Must have a strong work ethic
US citizen or authorized to work in the US
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have your own working vehicle
Must be able to speak, read and write in English
Must be able to travel a minimum of 25% throughout the assigned geographic territory (occasional overnight stay)
Must meet background and drug screening requirements
Must be able to work weekends as required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
