Bemana is looking for Technicians to join the team of one of the nation’s largest John Deere dealer networks. Immediate openings at over 20 branch locations throughout Iowa and in Lenexa, KS – see a list of locations in your application below and select the one nearest you.
As a Technician, you will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment in either the agricultural or consumer (lawn & garden, powersports, construction, golf & turf) divisions of the company.
Hiring for multiple permanent positions. This is not a temp or temp-to-hire role – if hired, you will be employed directly by the John Deere dealer.
Position Offers
Top Pay: salary + incentive pay with total earning potential ranging from $45,000 to over $100,000

Technician Responsibilities
Diagnose problems and determine repairs for equipment
Repair, service, and assemble equipment
Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment
Complete dis-assembly and inspection of equipment, as efficiently as possible, so parts may be ordered and machine work can be scheduled promptly
Maintain records and account for all time, parts, and supplies used in repairing and servicing equipment
Participate in service training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Maintain a clean and safe shop facility and environment
Help the dealership by participating in special programs, such as sales of service packages, demonstration programs, etc
Obtain core training through JDU and keep it in good standing by continuing education with a minimum of one Q-Diagnostic class every 5 years
Technician Qualifications
Prior experience as a diesel mechanic or similar mechanical trade
Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license is required
