As a Data Automation Engineer, you'll collaborate with various departments to automate processes to create efficiencies and reduce errors across the enterprise.
You'll be:
Identifying and implementing opportunities for data automation within business processes
Designing, scripting, testing, implementing, maintaining and modifying automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk
Collaborating with other departments to understand how data automation can create efficiencies and improve processes across the credit union
Gathering requirements from vendors or end-users to develop the best automation solutions
Employing a variety of languages and tools to automate processes - for example: Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), scripting languages, Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
Creating and maintaining documentation that describes data automation capabilities and operating procedures
Collaborate with Data Team and multiple departments to accomplish various data sprint projects.
Recommending ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Explaining complex technical concepts to other stakeholders in a way that is easy for them to understand
Providing quality service to members, potential members and coworkers
Demonstrating teamwork and professionalism in all interactions with coworkers
Performing other duties as assigned
You'll need:
An excitement for working with large volumes of data - Ability to work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
Experience working with an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tool, preferred
Proficient experience with programming languages (i.e. Java, Python, C#, etc.)
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools (i.e. Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or DataStage), strongly preferred
Experience working with SQL queries
Ability to demonstrate complex problem solving and strong decision-making skills
strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
To be self-motivated, resourceful and well organized with the ability to prioritize work assignments efficiently
Ability to accurately handle large volumes of details and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience Required
