We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Process Improvement to lead our organization’s continuous improvement efforts across all functions. This executive-level role will be responsible for driving process optimization strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of innovation throughout the company. The VP of Process Improvement will partner closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, lead cross-functional initiatives, and implement best practices that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction Duties/Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a company-wide process improvement strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives. Lead efforts to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve product and service quality.
Process Optimization: Identify, analyze, and optimize key business processes across departments (e.g., operations, supply chain, customer service, IT, finance) to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and department heads to understand business challenges and recommend process improvements that align with both short-term needs and long-term growth strategies.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption of process improvements. Provide guidance, training, and support to teams as they implement new processes and workflows.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and process mapping tools to identify process inefficiencies, track performance metrics, and measure the success of process improvement initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of process improvement professionals. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to introduce innovative process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) and ensure best practices are applied across the organization.
Risk Management & Compliance: Assess risks associated with current processes and recommend mitigation strategies. Ensure that process improvements comply with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
Reporting & Communication: Report progress on key initiatives to senior leadership and the Board, providing insights into operational improvements, cost savings, and other performance metrics.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt), or related process improvement methodologies.
10+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of driving large-scale process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results.
Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Agile.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives.
