Tidewater Direct LLC, a web offset printing company in West Branch, IA. is looking for full time press helper for its day and night shifts. A press helper reports to the lead pressman and is responsible for filling ink fountains, pulling paper bundles, following specific directions, driving clamp trucks, tending the sheeter to ensure no paper jams, cleaning, banding bundles when necessary, and assisting the pressman with whatever other duties are necessary to run a printing press effectively and safely.
Press Helpers work 12 hours a day, 3 days per week from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm or 6:30 pm to 6:30 am. 3 days on/4 days off. Days rotate every 2 weeks. There are regular opportunities for overtime. Press Helpers should be flexible and willing to work in other departments if necessary.
This position offers full benefits after 90 days of successful employment, including health, vision, dental, life, LTD, 401(k), paid holidays, and Paid Time Off. EXPERIENCE IN THE PRINTING INDUSTRY IS PREFERRED.
Pay starts at $17 per hour.
