Outsource is looking for a Structured Cabling Foreman with 5+ years of experience for a great opportunity based in Iowa City. Candidates must have experience in the Low Voltage/Structured Cabling Industry. This is an immediate need. Position is nights, 4/10's Monday to Thursday!
Structured Cabling Foreman Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Foreman/Lead/Superintendent in the Structured Cabling/Low Voltage industry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Experience running crews of up to 6.
Experience working with high end customers including hospitals.
Strong hands on experience with pulling, terminating, testing, troubleshooting of various low voltage systems.
Strong understanding of construction safety rules and regulations.
Ability to interface with customers and work professionally.
Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to lead a crew and layout work.
Ability to work NIGHTS and a 4/10 schedule Monday-Thursday.
Structured Cabling Foreman Responsibilities:
Manage a field crew up to 6 employees.
Oversee and review all project documentation including project plans, schedules, materials, time entry, etc.
Perform hands on work with structured cabling: CAT5E, CAT6, fiber optics including LC, SC, APC Terminations
Review materials to verify accuracy.
Close out projects, obtain customer sign-offs, assist with finalizing project deliverables.
Forecast manpower and materials.
Ensure the highest quality during all phases of the project (Quality Control).
Manage project hours, ensuring completion within the scheduled timeframe.
Assist with field training, employee development.
