The vision of Digital Farming is to unlock the full potential of our products for our customers by delivering integrated solutions powered by on-farm data, predictive models, and agronomy. As the Portfolio Lead for Seeds Programs within Digital Farming, you will be responsible for implementing this vision for our seed concepts, in collaboration with R&D, Commercial and the Seeds Business.

Work with the Digital Farming Platform Lead to maintain strategic alignment with the Seeds R&D Platform and Seeds Business Unit and the priorities and direction of our Seeds Decision Science R&D Pipeline

Serve as an internal and external science leader for Digital Farming Seeds programs and projects

Work with the program's Project Leads to drive progress and mitigate risks. Effectively communicate concepts, project status, results and business opportunities to stakeholders

In collaboration with project teams, establish and maintain criteria across our science and technology components, including models, analytics, experiment designs, data reviews and software implementation, to ensure we can meet value delivery and business requirements for each concept

In conjunction with R&D platform, Seeds BU and Commercial counterparts, ensure project teams have engaged Commercial representation and strong Commercial buy-in

Develop and monitor resource investments for the Digital Farming Seeds program, in accordance with our annual and multi-year planning processes, and guide FS&D investments across all stages of discovery and development

Quantify, track, and communicate the value of all investments for Digital Farming Seeds following our Innovation Management framework

Serve as a member of the Digital Farming Platform Leadership Team and as an influential leader within FS&D

QualificationsQualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience, or MS/PhD and 5+ years of experience

Track record of exhibiting thought leadership in an R&D or Commercial setting, challenging the status quo, and driving innovation

Strong quantitative skills and experience working in digital, including working with diverse data and data systems, software development, modeling techniques and applications

Ability to lead through influence and to operate effectively in matrixed organizations

Demonstrated knowledge of the agriculture industry, with a focus on the North America seed business

Excellent organizational skills and strong track record delivering results

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
