RN/LPN Team Lead Pediatric Complex Medical (Full-Time) Leadership (Supervisory, Management, Executive) Johnston, Iowa Apply Description The Nurse Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring the clinical needs of each child are implemented through support of a multidisciplinary team approach to clinical care. This leader is also directly responsible for ensuring staff are engaged in their work and participating effectively as a team. The successful candidate will have two years of nursing experience in pediatrics, rehabilitation and/or with children with complex medical conditions. Ensure staff provide care according to the child’s care plan and provide clinical care according to best practices as defined by ChildServe policy and practice manuals.
Ensure staff document accurately, completely, and timely.
Serve as a preceptor and ensure newly hired staff are competent to provide care.
Manage staff performance and develop staff skills, talents and knowledge.
Ensure supervised staff are current with all unit and ChildServe specific information.
Address stakeholder feedback effectively, respectfully, and professionally.
Ensure environment is maintained according to regulatory requirements.
Provide direct care as assigned.
Ensure adequate qualified staff to meet the needs of children within defined clinical model.
What You'll Need
2 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, rehabilitation and/or with children with complex medical conditions.
Current valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa; RN preferred
Documentation of current CPR/BLS certification
Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
