WD IT and Iowa Division of Labor are seeking an experienced project manager to lead a platform upgrade of the AMANDA system (v6 to v7).
IWD IT and the Iowa Division of Labor seek an experienced project manager to lead a platform upgrade of the AMANDA system (v6 to v7).
IWD IT and the Iowa Division of Labor (Idol) seek an experienced project manager to lead a platform upgrade of the AMANDA system (v6 to v7).
The AMANDA system is a licensed platform provided by Calytera/Granicus to issue permits/licenses and perform inspections of Iowa Division of Labor programs:
Elevators, Amusement Rides, Contractor Registration, etc.
The system is due for a significant platform to upgrade to be performed by a third-party service provider.
The AMANDA project manager coordinates all project activities between the vendor, IWD IT, and Idol staff while overseeing and actively managing the project budget, scope, and timeline.
This position reports to the IT EPMO Bureau Chief, interacting day-to-day with the vendor team and Idol staff.
This position is responsible for providing timely updates to IT, EPMO, and Idol leadership.
In addition to project management responsibilities, this position facilitates requirement sessions with Idol staff regarding updates necessary during the platform upgrade or subsequent enhancements.
The project manager will establish a change management model for Iowa Division of Labor staff for intake, review, approval, prioritization, execution, and acceptance of all change requests.
A good candidate for this position will be a project manager with experience managing a technical project, progressing through all SDLC phases, managing relationships with a vendor, and varying groups of stakeholders.
Familiarity with the AMANDA platform desired.
