Job Title: Pipe Layer - Labor
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA & Davenport, IA
Pay: $25–$35/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: Contract – a few months, with potential for extension
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of pipe layer experience
Position Overview:
Superior Skilled Trades is hiring pipe layers for immediate contract opportunities in Cedar Rapids and Davenport, Iowa.
Key Responsibilities:
Measuring and cutting sections of pipe to create the lines as specified
Laying the pipes into the trenches
Assembling pipes using joints, fittings and adhesives
Testing pipes for proper installation
Backfilling trenches
Locating, removing and replacing old water lines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 year of experience in commercial construction or concrete work.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Job requires proper use of PPE
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
