OVERVIEW
A local logistics company is seeking a 1st shift warehouse worker to join their crew. The warehouse worker is responsible for operating a forklift for the purpose of loading and unloading trucks, moving, locating, stacking, and counting merchandise to meet company standards for safety, security, productivity, and food safety. Position is temp to hire!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload inbound shipments, verify merchandise matches shipping documents.
Move merchandise to storage racks.
Pick orders and prepares for shipment while following load requirements.
Operates warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner to eliminate personal injuries, merchandise damage, and damage to warehouse.
Operate various types of attachments and equipment required to handle merchandise.
Inspect forklifts on daily basis and perform minor maintenance.
Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Forklift and warehouse experience.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
Attention to detail.
Pay
$14
WORK HOURS/SHIFT
1st shift, M-F
7:00am-3:30pm
