Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the assembly of all parts and components of machinery until they are completed to required test procedures by performing the following duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one-year related experience in a manufacturing environment
Forklift truck driving experience
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal and written instructions, and use simple math
Mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic skills very beneficial
Duties include:
Assembles machinery per blueprint specifications.
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisor.
Communicates with other departments as necessary to maintain tight schedules.
Assists in other work areas as necessary for production, and to load and unload trucks for delivery of manufactured equipment.
Operates forklift trucks and overhead cranes to convey, move, or hoist materials.
Participates in training and continuing education as required.
Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to read, understand, and follow blueprints.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and reach with both arms.
Must be able to read and understand measuring tools as required.
Must be able to use power and hand tools as required.
Must be dependable and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
