Job Title: Full-Time Industrial Service Technician
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team as an Industrial Service Technician. This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills, mechanical/electrical aptitude, forklift operation proficiency, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing customer needs.
- Perform on-site service and maintenance for industrial equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and stocking products.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to transport equipment and materials.
- Document all service and sales activities accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and external customers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in driving a forklift, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to navigate software programs for documentation purposes.
- Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate customer needs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and inventory.
