General Statement of Duties: Operation of a variety of machines. Responsibilities range from loading/unloading materials onto/off machines, processing tubing through equipment and ensuring quality of tubes being produced and shipped out.

Examples of Essential Duties: A typical day consists of the following tasks. Pick loads for shipment. Use SAP to assign inventory batches to an order. Load/unload trucks. Receive material in SAP and complete receiving paperwork. Measure material as identified on purchase order to validate the material meets specifications for the order. Verify material certification matches the order requirements. Properly and professionally communicate with truck drivers regarding shipment loads. Work as a machine operator as needed which may include the following. Ensure that the equipment is in a safe operating condition. Review the computerized work list for the equipment, locate the available material and prioritizes the orders to be processes. Communicate with the other operators to formulate the run order of material. Load/unload various machines to include conveyors. Perform any necessary set-up during shift. Process the job and send final product to the warehouse for shipping. Use of SAP for accessing work orders, creating batches and finish goods tags.

Performance Requirements:

1. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to deal with stress and get along with co-workers and supervisors. Ability to read and speak English is preferred. Mathematical skills equivalent to high school level required. Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. Regular attendance at work and punctuality are essential job functions.

2. Education: High School education or equivalent is preferred.

3. Experience: Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

4. Equipment: After Training, must be able to operate a variety of industrial machines safely and efficiently. All personnel must be fully capable of operating fork trucks and cranes.

Hours: Regular shift consist of eight hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Business needs dictate the number of shifts per week an employee is required to work. Shift schedule is subject to change as needed.
