Summary:
A Waste Company in Monmouth, Illinois is looking to hire a Diesel Technician. Open to multiple levels of Technicians, including B-level , A-level, Lead, and Master Techs. This position is responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance primarily on Trucks. This position offers a flexible shift and responsibilities/pay according to ability.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience maintaining and/or repairing diesel engines in heavy-duty trucks
Ability to identify operating issues including examining, test driving, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems
Ability to inspect, trouble shoot, and repair brakes, steering, suspension, PTO Shaft, Hydraulics, Electrical Systems, fuel and air intake systems, and other vehicle and equipment systems preferred
Welding experience preferred
