Enrollment Management and Program Specialist
DIVISION: Student and Academic Services
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current international students. Assist with international student admission processing, SEVIS processing and registration processes. Coordinate a program (Information Technology, Web & Graphic Design, or Agriculture) with a possibility to do some program instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required – Bachelors Degree in a field of study in which program instruction would occur.
Proficient in skills of degree.
Preferred - Masters Degree in a field of study in which program instruction would occur.
Experience in enrollment management, especially with international students
Experience in student affairs/student services or community college work.
Bilingual in English and another language.
Copies of all academic transcripts are required. Unofficial copies are acceptable at the time of application. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, a complete set of original transcripts will be required. Must be qualified to teach ITS courses.
SUPERVISORS: Director of Enrollment Management and Academic Dean/Director of Program Area.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Advise and assist international prospective students with the admissions and registration processes.
2. Implement social media recruiting initiatives for international students.
3. Advise and track registration requirements of current international students to ensure students are meeting graduation and visa requirements.
4. Assist international students in accessing appropriate services and resources to support student academic success.
5. Conduct campus visits or TEAMS meetings with prospective students and families.
6. Assist with special event days (visit days, orientation, open house, etc.).
7. Promote the features and benefits of Northwest Iowa Community College to prospective students and parents.
8. Attend events that promote Northwest Iowa Community College.
9. Manage weekly and monthly reports and conduct appropriate follow-up contact with prospective students.
10. Maintain student contact information and documentation within the student record systems.
11. Be familiar with the certification, diploma, and degree programs of Northwest Iowa Community College.
12. Be familiar with Northwest Iowa Community College policies and procedures for admission, financial aid, etc.
13. Teach 2-3 courses.
14. Serve as the curriculum and content expert in the field of program for students and other college entities.
15. Advising the college on workforce needs in the field sector.
16. Assist with the 5-year reviews of the program.
17. Overseeing program assessment.
18. Choose course textbooks.
19. Meet with prospective students including campus visits, Thunder Fridays, campus orientations, etc.
20. Promote and maintain open communication with all college constituents.
21. Attend staff meetings and regional, state and promotional meetings to promote continued professional growth.
22. Actively participate in college committees.
23. Perform other duties as assigned.

None. Worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as in typical office or administrative work. This position may require extended periods of time at a computer.
