Position Title: Forklift
Wage: $12.50/hour
Shift: 1st
This company is looking for experienced Forklift Operators that can work well in teams or by themselves! Simple Solar is the largest community solar project in the state of Iowa, and provides 1.5 megawatts of green power to homes and businesses in Cedar Falls. This Forklift opportunity is temp to hire on 1st shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Use a forklift to unload inbound shipments of materials
- Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse
- Move inbound materials to correct locations
- Use a hand held scanner to pull orders
- Use a forklift to load product
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of previous forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. 25% of the shift
- Ability to operate a forklift after completing onsite forklift training
