Join our team of creative and caring people of all backgrounds, and help us make a difference in the lives of others.PRIMARY PURPOSE : To process payment checks received in accordance with company check processing guidelines; to process the regular monthly payment recovery files; to coordinate with collection agencies; and to support the Claims Recovery Team within company standards and industry best practices.BENEFITSCompetitive hourly ratesFlexible work scheduleReferral Incentive ProgramOpportunity to work from homeInternal career progression and developmentBenefits eligibility and 401(k) with company match day 1ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for assigned inventory of files with recovery; maintains a monthly diary to receive the payment from at-fault parties; and follows up with payees if payment is late.

Enters recoveries into various claims systems to ensure the recovery dollars are applied to appropriate claims file.

Works with collections agencies when appropriate to collect from at-fault parties and records details in claims file.

Using various search techniques, is responsible for skip tracing (finding someone who does not wish to be found).

Responsible obtaining a copy of the police report to support the recovery claim.

Processes invoices for various vendors involved in recovery including attorneys, special investigators, medical experts, etc.

Processes checks received from adverse parties/payees for payment; maintains copies of all recoveries as required by internal and external auditors.

Responsible for responding to clients' questions timely and professionally.

Assists with salvage disposition.

Responsible for filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning, and other general office functions; opens and distributes mail with in the department.

ADDITIONAL FUCNTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation & LicensingHigh school diploma or GED required.ExperienceOne (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Claims industry experience preferred.Skills & KnowledgeExcellent oral and written communication skills

PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
