About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Independent Testing Specialist for the Consumer Lending (CL) Independent Testing & Validation (IT&V) team. The Independent Testing and Validation (IT&V) team is responsible for the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities across the Enterprise in alignment with the Risk Management Framework, and ensuring effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.In this role, you will:Lead or participate in moderate to high risk or complex review activities in a matrixed environment and communicate emerging risks to management within Independent Testing.

Contribute to large scale planning related to Independent Testing deliverables.

Review and research moderately complex potential corrective actions, and follow through on reporting, escalation, and resolution.

Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.

Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet Independent Testing deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk management framework and the risk and control environment.

Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners, management and lines of business regarding risk management.

Execute substantive testing for Incremental Compliance Testing (ICT) and Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) engagements.

Effectively communicate testing process, status, and results to IT&V leadership, business, and risk partners.

Write and/or review reports or presentations that clearly articulate the results/conclusions of testing activities.

Effectively communicate with IT&V Leadership and escalate concerns or issues as appropriate.

Identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements.

Provide credible challenge and recommendations to IT&V Leadership as needed.

Actively participate in learning & development opportunities to ensure the use of best-in-class processes and procedures.Assist in driving change to ensure an effective risk management program.

Foster relationships with teams and collaborating across other all T&V teams effectively.

Required Qualifications, US:4+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in financial industry.

Experience with control related assessments.

Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Advanced Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio skills.

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines despite competing priorities.

Experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk, and/or Testing.
