Position Summary Assist in the order induction area accurately preparing customer order cartons for picking and inducting orders onto the AbBots for picking. Responsibilities
Read and interpret order label information to determine the correct size carton for order label.
Prepare customer order cartons for picking by the predetermined layout in order to make efficient AbBot mission times.
Pay attention to order sort, order drop off point, and carton layout to ensure orders are prepared and picked in a timely manner.
Induct customer orders into the correct carton position on the AbBot for picking.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Interface with Team Leads and Supervisors daily
Perform housekeeping duties
Serve as a member of the Distribution Center Team by providing assistance as needed
QualificationsQualifications
Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, bend for extended periods and lift (up to 60 pounds)
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness pays close attention to detail.
Basic oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Basic math skills- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers.
Demonstrated flexibility with work schedule; ability to work overtime to meet business needs .
