We are seeking a Production Supervisor to work at one of our facilities. The Production supervisor reports to the Production Manager and exercises direct control over a Production department and coordinates with other Production Supervisors. As part of your role, you will be responsible for:Directing, coordinating and planning the activities of a specific production department/shift under master production schedule and the hourly work force (including machine operators, i.e., milling, mixing, canning equipment, etc.) involved in the manufacture of productServing as lead person for a group of hourly employees utilizing established methodsCommunicating procedures to all subordinates, assuring they are understood and implemented when applicableInterpreting statistical reports, cycle time specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns dutiesManage daily workflow and associated responsibilitiesUpdate the Operational Data Entry Network (ODEN) as needed throughout the shiftReview and analyze data to make informed business decisionsSupport Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Uptime Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Foster and uphold corporate programs and directivesPromote a strong safety cultureMonitor, prioritize, and support customer demandsEncourage the growth and career development of new hires
