The ideal candidate will observe & monitor field work activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and checks lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipment.The Impact You'll MakeObserves and monitors field work activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documentsChecks lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipmentObserves highway work zones and traffic control setups and reports potential issues to supervisor.Tests and/or samples materialsDocuments daily work activities and pay items in Site ManagerWorks under the direct supervision of a Field Project Engineer, Senior Inspector or Resident EngineerAdditional responsibilities as needed including working at night.
