professional exposure and measurable real-world outcomes.Organize and lead quarterly RWL Showcases at each grade level, providing a platform for KIPPsters to demonstrate their mastery, present their projects to community partners, and celebrate applied learning growth.Use student performance data and feedback from industry partners to continuously refine RWL experiences, ensuring they meet KIPP KC’s standards for academic excellence and 21st-century skill development.Additional Duties (Applicable to Course and Grade Level)Facilitate evidence-based Health lessons that empower students to make informed decisions regarding nutrition, mental wellness, and personal safety, aligned with Missouri’s Grade Level Expectations (GLEs).Design and implement personalized Strength and Conditioning programs that utilize physiological principles to improve student-athlete performance, focusing on proper form, injury prevention, and long-term physical literacy.Oversee competitive Athletics and team sports modules, leveraging physical activity to teach high-level leadership, collaboration, and the KIPP KC values of grit and integrity.Lead Dance instruction that explores a variety of genres and cultural traditions, focusing on choreography, rhythmic accuracy, and the use of movement as a vehicle for creative storytelling.Coordinate school-wide showcases and athletic exhibitions where students demonstrate mastery of complex movement patterns and artistic choreography for community partners and families.Integrate foundational knowledge of human anatomy and kinesiology into daily movement labs, helping students understand the "why" behind physical training and peak performance.Utilize fitness-tracking technology and performance data to help students set, monitor, and achieve personalized wellness goals, mirroring professional-grade athletic training environments.Establish partnerships with Kansas City health professionals, fitness experts, and dance companies to provide students with professional mentorships and exposure to careers in sports medicine and the performing arts.
