Brightspeed is looking for a Lead Network Engineer to join our team! As the Lead Network Engineer on the Network Architecture team, you will report directly to the Director of Technology and Process Improvement. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the CPE Architect to ensure the interoperability of customer premise equipment with Brightspeed’s network. You will work within a production environment test bed to replicate issues reported by the Operations teams. Your responsibilities will include understanding the steps to reproduce an issue and driving solutions to resolve and mitigate the impact on the business or our customers.As a Lead Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Managing the production environment test bedPartnering closely with Operational teams to help root cause issues observed in the fieldPresenting to senior leadership and summarizing projects at an executive-levelServing as Tier 4 support for Operations teams with any issues being identified regarding customer premise equipmentBeing a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on topics including DSL, GPON, field testing, remote speed testing, mobile tools, health certificate, etc. Responsibility for the migration and evolution of the copper-based network to provide the best and most reliable speeds possible to our customersWorking closely with vendors/3rd party partnersSome travel may be required
