The Warehouse Associate role is crucial to our operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of merchandise. This position demands adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will operate RF scanning devices, manage merchandise, maintain safety protocols, and contribute to the overall success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
RF Scanning: Accurately use RF scanning devices to locate and scan merchandise.
Order Processing: Efficiently pick merchandise, scan items, and place them on the conveyor for shipping.
Receiving: Scan incoming cases, promptly open them, and facilitate re-boxing on machinery.
Quality Control: Verify Purchase Orders (POs) and SKU accuracy to maintain the integrity of our inventory.
Palletization: Follow approved procedures for palletizing freight.
Safety: Adhere to company and OSHA safety procedures, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your team.
Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, meeting productivity targets.
Documentation: Read, write, conduct business-related mathematics, and analyze data as needed.
Problem Solving: Bring issues to the attention of supervisors, managers, safety directors, or HR managers.
Procedures: Follow daily procedures and protocols as outlined in job orientations and training sessions.
Physical Demands:
Standing: Stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours, which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Vision: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Communication: Regularly communicate using various methods while performing job duties.
Physical Tasks: Engage in activities such as kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling, and moving weights ranging from 5 to 25 pounds constantly and 25-55 pounds frequently.
Lifting: Ability to move up to 55 pounds over a distance of at least 25 feet.
Location Flexibility: Associates may be temporarily assigned to different locations based on business needs, which may involve varying physical demands.
Compensation:
$14.50 per hour (1st Shift)
$15.50 per hour (2nd Shift)
