Ready to join a growing company in Wamego, KS? Kelly Services is hiring for Shipping and Receiving Clerks to join us onsite at the Caterpillar facility in Wamego, KS. In this role, you will operate a sit-down forklift, track product inventory in a computer system and assist picking parts for customer orders.
Available position 2nd Shift:
330p-2am, Monday - Thursday, plus Friday overtime

WHAT MAKES YOU QUALIFIED?

- High attention to details for part numbers, location, and computer work

- High School Diploma/GED or 1 year of experience in warehouse
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Receive, store, and issue equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compile stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard by performing the following duties.
- Move or transport material or supplies to other departments using a forklift or other tools
- Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices
- Store articles in bins, on the floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material
- Fill orders or issue supplies from stock
- Compile reports on the use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments
- Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles
- Distribute stock among production workers, keeping a record of material issued
- Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
- Cut stock to size to fill orders
