Performs lubrication, cleaning inspection, changes belts and filters in equipment. Performs repairs on heating ventilating and air conditioning units, reset fire alarm systems, electric motors, gear reducer, air compressors, various electrical and pneumatic control components.40% - Responds to emergency calls involving loss of utilities or equipment failure. Resets breakers helps repair leaks in water or air lines. Repairs are performed as time and expertise permits. May assist Central Shop staff with more complex repairs. Assist in training and mentoring general maintenance staff.5% - Other Related Work as Assigned: Maintains an adequate supply of tools, parts, and supplies for jobs. Responds to after-hours emergency calls as needed. Assists with other maintenance areas and in other work areas as assigned. Three (3) years of experience in a skilled craft area. Certificate from a vocational school or an associate's degree in a building or mechanical trade area may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
