Do you drink alcohol? Are you a single man between 21-35 years old? If so, you may qualify for a research study on alcohol use, emotions, and male-female interactions.
Participation includes one in-person lab visit at the University of Kansas, lasting 4-6 hours. You will be asked to drink alcohol and juice beverages in a controlled bar lab setting; complete surveys about drinking, emotions, relationship history, and personality; and respond to hypothetical scenarios about interactions with people of the opposite sex.
Compensation of $15/hour, up to $100 total.
Possible risks include potential breach of confidentiality, potential discomfort or distress from study questions or the scenarios, and potential adverse consequences due to alcohol administration.
