Project Manager

Project Manager Include but are not Limited to the Following:The Project Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the study or studies for the clients assigned. The Project Manager will ensure assigned studies are executed according to client expectations and with the highest level of quality. This includes management of the timeline, budget, logistics, and contracted scopeLevel I - MinimumContracted Services ManagementManage project contractual deliverables including adherence to contractually agreed upon timelines and within study budgetIdentify scope creep for existing contracts and work with clients and contracting to ensure appropriate SOW amendments are put in placeUnderstand and utilize applicable laboratory and project management softwareEnsure timely and accurate billing for manual billing itemsInternal and External Client ManagementServe as primary point of contact for all project stakeholdersPrepare meeting agenda and ensure that meeting minutes with action items from client teleconferences and internal meetings are capturedEnsure all client expectations are documented and acted upon when appropriateMonitor, manage and help to resolve any client issues or concernsLead and direct cross-functional team and third parties/vendors with some supervision and supportStudy ManagementEnsure project setup is completed within applicable systemsProvide basic project metric reports for key study KPI’sPerform risk analysis of key risks and place mitigation strategies in placeForecast study enrollments and coordinate with lab operations to ensure adequate support is available to achieve contracted turnaround timesForecast projected revenues for individual studiesData ManagementCoordinate with clients and Data Management to ensure data transfer agreements are put in place to accurately capture client data requirementsSchedule Client data transfers with Data Management and ensure timely delivery of data.Decision making and leadershipRepresent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all timesOther duties as assigned by managementLevel II - Fully meets responsibilities of Level I plus the following:Ability to manage medium and high complexity assay development projects and clinical trial projects with little assistance from senior peersAbility to create complex metric reports with little supportAssist department management with special projects as assignedPerform risk analysis of key risks and place mitigation strategies in place with limited supportDemonstrate a firm understanding of the corporate financialsKeep current on industry and legal trends; and regulatory and compliance requirementsDemonstrate strong leadership skills through the training,, coaching or mentoring of others as applicableLevel III - Fully meets responsibilities of Level II plus the following:Ability to manage high complexity assay development and clinical trial projects with little assistance from department managementProactively identifies and mitigates risks and resolve issues in real-time.Ability to negotiate with clients to assure Viracor’ s operational processes are maintainedDemonstrate the ability to recognize and implement process improvements
