Turner & Townsend are seeking a RNG Controls & Automation Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on support across multiple Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities. This role supports the Facilities Engineering and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams while serving as the primary point of contact for automation, instrumentation, and controls-related activities. The successful candidate will operate with autonomy, demonstrate strong technical and operational depth, and manage interfaces with internal stakeholders and external vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical, Instrumentation & Controls (E&I)Lead Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) support for RNG assets, including onsite troubleshooting and regular field engagement with site team.Oversee maintenance and upgrades of IT/OT systems including:Rockwell ControlLogix / CompactLogix PLCsInstrumentation and sensorsAlarm notification systems (e.g., Win‑911 or similar)Electrical systems such as VFDs, breakers, and control panelsAutomation & Vendor CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact for all automation, controls, and instrumentation vendors.Coordinate work scopes, troubleshoot vendor-delivered solutions, and ensure adherence to site standards.Networking, IT & Cybersecurity SupportProvide working-level support for industrial networking (switches, VLANs, remote access, firewalls as applicable).Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to uphold secure, compliant, and resilient OT environments.Support cyber hardening activities, patching support, asset inventory, remote-access security, and compliance initiatives.Technical Leadership & CollaborationInterface with Operations & Maintenance to ensure reliability, uptime, and safe work execution.Provide guidance on control system modifications, instrumentation specifications, and site improvements.Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
