Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role is responsible for hands-on day to day accounting, reconciliations and other related accounting responsibilities and special projects.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly Bank Reconciliations (20+accounts)
Maintaining and updating monthly schedules inventory, fixed assets and depreciation, lease expense and other schedules
Maintaining Loan Payable account
Preparing journal entries as assigned
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Monitor funder payments and non-payments.
Assist in the annual and individual program audits.
Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:35 hours per week
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
Sage Intacct a plus
Minimum of 2 year of experience
An understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controls
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilities
Proficient in MS Excel and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a plus
