Job purpose: The purpose of the Project Manager at Continental Siding is to oversee every aspect of our installation process. You are responsible for ensuring the project is completed in a timely manner, on budget, and within scope. You will provide in-field support and oversight of our install crews, and act as the representative to our customers.
Work Hours: 7:00am 4:00 pm Monday Friday (Overtime and weekend work may be required)
Wage: Base pay + performance bonuses = $70,000.00-90,000.00 income potential. Depends on the candidate’s experience and skills
Duties & responsibilities:
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment
Measuring SQ FT of structures
Follow a work order and defined scope of the project
Keep the project on budget
Use project management software to record the necessary information
Perform measures for windows, siding, soffit, fascia, shutters, gutters, etc. on homes of 1 to 3 stories
Possess basic computer and tablet skills with the ability to use typical office programs
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must have Residential Exterior Building Construction Management experience with knowledge of Vinyl Siding, Replacement Windows and Doors, Guttering, Simulated Stone, and installation
Ability to handle and oversee multiple projects effectively
Ability to work in any weather conditions
Ability to answer the phone at all times.
Ability to task using IT technology such as tablets, and PC’s utilizing calendars
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates from all departments necessary to process project packets as well as install crews and customers
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Must be self-motivated, highly organized and detail-minded
Good math, planning, and organization skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Must be able to drive long distances in company vehicle
Willing to work extra hours and weekends.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma
5-8 years of Exterior Building Construction Experience
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling, balancing
Ability to drive a motor vehicle while obeying traffic rules
Special Requirements:
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license and be insurable on company insurance
