Description We are in search of an Administrative Assistant I - Support to join our team located in Olathe, Kansas. This role is pivotal in providing administrative support within our industry. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity and will involve tasks such as document processing, data retrieval, and filing, as well as coordinating meetings and travel.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer applications and maintain customer credit records. Handle inquiries from both internal and external customers, referring complex requests to appropriate staff members. Draft and type standard letters and memoranda from specific instructions and prepare documents for distribution. Maintain and update established websites with the assistance of basic web publishing software applications. Prepare and maintain documentation of department processes while updating forms according to defined procedures. Schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and manage appointment calendars on behalf of department managers or supervisors. Update and maintain databases, systems, applications, files, and/or spreadsheets to ensure accurate and current information is available for use by others. Retrieve records or data and distribute information as appropriate to provide timely and accurate information to department members or external customers. File documents in accordance with defined procedures for on-site storage as well as long-term archiving. Receive and refer visitors and telephone callers within the department, ensuring that callers reach their intended destination. Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, interoffice messages, faxes, and voicemail messages throughout the department. Requirements Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Excel and other office functions Experience in handling clerical duties such as filing, bookkeeping, and calendar management Ability to manage travel arrangements and scheduling meetings Expertise in drafting and managing correspondence Familiarity with database management and storage Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies Proficiency in preparing detailed reports Experience in handling and distributing faxes Ability to carry out business process functions and manage debits Excellent phone presence and customer service skills Experience in managing and updating websites Proficiency in using 'About Time' software Ability to provide workstation support Knowledge of research analysis techniques Experience in managing spreadsheets.
