RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Full Stack Developer for a remote opportunity with a growing organization. The Full Stack Developer will help build the next generation of lead generation websites that get over a million visitors per month, help upgrade our existing sites to Single Page Applications, help scale APIs that handle thousands of requests per minute, and best of all, work with all the latest cloud technologies (AWS Cloud).
Responsibilities
Work with the Software Engineering Manager to design, develop, refactor, and test some old, some new, and some still being conceived web applications
Build reports and optimize long-running database queries
Enhance existing monitoring & alerting systems
Dig through the logs trying to find that pesky bug which only showed up in production
Identify and develop ways to automate your workload
Work with product owners to fully vet the requirements
Maintain documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject OR equivalent work experience
PHP Certification
5+ years of hands-on experience across a wide gamut of technologies, including but not limited to
MySQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server OK too) experience
HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and most importantly a modern JS framework like React, Angular or Vue
Very good understanding of how web applications work including security, session & state management
Good knowledge of version control tools (preferably Git)
Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
