Schiber Truck Company is seeking a reliable and hard working full time regional hazmat driver for its Fredonia, KS terminal. Drivers will need to be proficient in operating 48' and 53' vans along with a variety of specialized tankers within the midwest. The position we are trying to fill is Mon-Fri, with drivers being home usually 2-3 nights during the week and home on the weekends.
We offer a full benefits package including health, dental and life insurance along with a very competitively matched 401K program. We have 9 paid holidays, paid vacations based on years of service, paid training and offer a 4% safety bonus to our drivers as well. Typical pay for the position is $70,000+. All loading and unloading time is paid, and $40/night per diem when laying over.
Applicants MUST have a safe and clean driving record and possess a CURRENT class A CDL with CURRENT hazmat and tanker endorsements and at least 2 years class A experience.
